Diploma in Robotics & IoT
Duration: 6 Months
Total Hours: 450
Lecture Hours: 100
Mode: Online
Award: Diploma Certificate from UGC recognized University
Entry Requirement: Basic computer knowledge / No prior programming experience required
Course Overview
The Diploma in Robotics & IoT is a comprehensive 6-month training program designed to equip students with practical knowledge and technical skills in modern robotics, microcontroller programming, and Internet of Things (IoT) systems.
Through a perfect balance of theory (100 lecture hours) and practical work (350 hands-on hours), students will learn how to design, program, and deploy intelligent robotic and IoT-based solutions using Arduino and ESP32 microcontrollers.
Course Content Summary
- C++ Programming for Embedded Systems
Learn the foundations of programming — variables, data types, control structures, arrays, functions, and object-oriented programming concepts (OOP). - Microcontroller Fundamentals
Introduction to Arduino and ESP32 platforms, digital and analog I/O operations, and serial communication. - Electronic Interfacing
Work with LEDs, RGB LEDs, seven-segment displays, switches, relays, keypads, joysticks, LCD displays, and motor drivers. - Sensors and Modules
Interface and program sensors such as Ultrasonic, IR, PIR, DHT, and modules like Bluetooth, GSM, and shift registers (74HC595). - Motor Control and Robotics
Build DC motor and servo-based robots, including Bluetooth and ultrasonic-controlled robotic cars. - Advanced ESP32 Applications
Learn client-server communication, asynchronous programming, BLE, camera interfacing, and custom Arduino library development. - Internet of Things (IoT)
Design and deploy ESP32 web servers, control devices remotely, monitor sensors in real time, and integrate with Arduino IoT Cloud. - Projects and Capstone Work
Complete mini projects throughout the course and a final IoT-based project such as a smart home system, IoT robot, or environmental monitoring system.
