REXTRO Silver Jubilee Exhibition: University of Ruhuna
From December 13 to December 15, 2025, Future Robotics Academy was proud to participate in the prestigious REXTRO Silver Jubilee Exhibition held at the University of Ruhuna.
Our exhibition stall became a hub of activity as we challenged visitors with hands-on technical tasks. To celebrate the ingenuity of the participants, we awarded gift packs and scholarships to those who successfully completed these challenges. Our team—Engineer Viduranga Jayakody, Engineer Chulendra Whibhawashakthi, and Mr. Uditha Liyanage—were on-site to mentor the participants and showcase the exciting potential of our robotics programs.
It was an inspiring three days of innovation, engagement, and celebration at one of the country’s most significant engineering exhibitions.

Robotics Workshop at Marspreneurs, Thalawathugoda
On January 5, 2025, we hosted an immersive Robotics Workshop at the Marspreneurs center in Thalawathugoda.
The session was led by our CEO and Founder, Engineer Viduranga Jayakody, and Engineer Chulendra Whibhawashakthi, who guided participants through the practical fundamentals of robotic engineering. This collaborative event was organized in partnership with Mr. Amithe Gamage, CEO and CXO Coach at Marspreneurs. It was a high-energy workshop focused on hands-on learning, empowering participants to build and understand the complex systems that drive modern automation.
We appreciate the vision of the Marspreneurs team in bringing such vital technical training to the Thalawathugoda community.

Inspiring the Future: Robotics & AI Seminar at Mahanuwara Sri Panarathna Maha Vidyalaya
On June 14, 2024, we had the privilege of visiting Mahanuwara Sri Panarathna Maha Vidyalaya to conduct an engaging seminar on the transformative fields of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
The session was led by our CEO and Founder, Engineer Viduranga Jayakody, who provided students with a glimpse into how these cutting-edge technologies are reshaping our world. We were proud to coordinate this event with Mr. Ajward, CEO of Global Net Institute, continuing our mission to expand technical education and accessibility for students in every corner of the region.

SLTC Seminar Series: Day 3 – Exploring the World of Robotics On July 7, 2023, we continued our collaborative seminar series at SLTC Research University.
Day 3 was led by our CEO and Founder, Engineer Viduranga Jayakody, who guided students through an immersive session on Robotics. The workshop focused on demystifying how robotic systems function, from core mechanical concepts to the logical design required to make machines move. It was an inspiring day that gave students a clear roadmap for their journey into the world of automation.
SLTC Seminar Series: Day 2
Following the success of our initial session, we returned to SLTC Research University on June 2, 2023, for Day 2 of our seminar series. This session was conducted by Engineer Thathsara Lokuliyana, representing Future Robotics. Building on the momentum of the series, the workshop dived deeper into technical applications and hands-on problem-solving, further encouraging students to push the boundaries of their engineering skills. It was another fantastic day of learning and collaboration, helping students bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical, real-world robotics.
Robotics & Entrepreneurship Seminar at SLTC On February 24, 2023, we proudly partnered with SLTC Research University to host a dynamic seminar series for the students of Polimath College, Colombo.
Led by our CEO and Founder, Engineer Viduranga Jayakody, the seminar focused on the exciting intersection of Robotics and Entrepreneurship.
